Policies

PET BOARDING GENERAL POLICIES

We are pet lovers and so our mission is to make sure your four-legged friends feel as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away. Not only we provide an immaculate, calm environment, but also we take the necessary precautions to protect your pet(s) from any harm.

Before we agree to service you, we must schedule a Meet & Greet between you (the pet owner) and your pet at our location. We are interviewing each other. We must make sure we are a good fit for each other to protect the well being of all parties.

We won’t be able to service you unless if the meet and greet is not done prior to the boarding. No exceptions.

During the meet and greet, we need to verify your pet(s) are current with all shots (rabies, bordetella and DHPP), determine their temperament and discuss their regular routine and care.

All pets must be under a flea and tick control and heartworm preventative treatment. No exceptions.

We prefer you schedule your service at least 72 hours in advance so we will have enough time to perform the meet and greet and offer your pet a complimentary overnight stay or doggie daycare day to see how your pet does in a new environment.

Pet BoardingTemperament Restrictions

  • Pet(s) must be well tempered
  • Pet(s) must be friendly with other dogs, people and children
  • Pet(s) must be up to date with mandatory vaccines for boarding
  • Pet(s) must not be sick with kennel cough or any other contagious disease.

If your pet shows aggression or dominant behavior towards other dogs, barks constantly while staying in his/her suite or has kennel cough, we won’t be able to provide boarding services for your pet(s).

PET BOARDING REQUIRED VACCINATIONS

For the safety of your own pets and the pets boarded with us, please provide proof of vaccinations up to date every time you board your pets in our home(s). As per our insurance, all pets must be fully vaccinated and current with the following:

Pet Boarding Canine Vaccinations

  • Rabies (1 Yr or 3 Yr accepted)
  • DHPP which stands for D=Canine Distemper H=Hepatitis P=Parainfluenza P=Canine Parvo (1 Yr or 3 Yr accepted)
  • Bordetella (within 6 months)
  • Negative Fecal Test within 3 Months

Pet Boarding Feline Vaccinations

  • Rabies & FVRCP (1 Yr or 3 Yr accepted)
  • TLC Pet Boarding requires that cats are current with at least rabies vaccine for pet boarding services.

RATES POLICIES

Cage-Free Dog Boarding

Our rates are based on weight, age and sterilization. Adults (2 years or older) must be fully potty trained and house broken, friendly with other dogs, people and children. Boarding rates start at $30 per dog per day (24 Hr Boarding).

Half a day of Doggie Daycare charge from 1 to 5 hours after 24 hour pick up time.

Full day of Doggie Daycare charge from 5 to 10 hours after 24 hour pick up time.

Full boarding day charge 10 hours or more after pick up time.

DISCOUNTS

$10 Off on your second dog; $15 on your third dog.

**10% Discount (if applicable) CANNOT be applied on Holiday Week or Weekends.**

SURCHARGES

Puppies 6 weeks to 26 weeks old $10 Young Puppy Surcharge per day

Puppies 6 to 23 months old $5 Puppy Surcharge per day

Females in heat $5 Surcharge per day

We only accept non-neutered & non-alpha male puppies up to a year of age for a $5 Surcharge per day.

We may be able to accommodate boarding for a non-neutered & non-alpha male adult dogs for a $5 Surcharge per day during weekdays ONLY.

HOLIDAY RATES

An additional $5 will be added to the regular rate on every Holiday Day in the United States.

HOLIDAY SURCHARGES

Due to a high demand during the holidays, TLC Pet Boarding has a SURCHARGE of $5 per day 3 days prior and 3 days after the holiday day.

E.g. For Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Holiday, surcharge starts on December 21st until December 28th.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

To guarantee your spot with us we recommend payment in full at the time of reservation. Once we are booked, if your reservation has not been paid, we CAN NOT guarantee Boarding Services.

Cancellations during a NON-Major Holiday

If you want your reservation to be guaranteed during a NON-Major Holiday, you must pay a $100 deposit towards your reservation.

If you cancel the reservation during a NON-Major Holiday with at least 72 hours of notice, a nonrefundable credit of your payment will be issued and will be held for 90 days from the date of issue.

If pet parent cancels the reservation during a Non-Major Holiday with less than 72 hours of notice, a $100 cancellation fee applies. A non-refundable credit for the remainder balance of the reservation will be issued and will be held for 90 days from the date of issue.

Cancellations during a Major Holiday

Due to our limited availability, reservations during a Major Holiday must be pre-paid in full by the pet parent(s) who wants his/her boarding reservation guaranteed. If the reservation is not pre-paid, TLC Pet Boarding cannot guarantee the reservation.

If you cancel the reservation with at least 72 hours of notice during a Major Holiday, a $100 cancellation fee applies. A non-refundable credit for the remainder balance of the reservation will be issued and will be held for 90 days from the date of issue.

No credit or refund of payment is available if pet parent cancels the reservation during a Major Holiday with less than 72 hours of notice.

EARLY RETURNS / LAST MINUTE CHANGES

It is not unusual for trip plans to change at the last minute. However, please understand that TLC Pet Boarding carefully schedules bookings for you and our other clients. Therefore, there are NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS for early returns or last minute changes to pet boarding services.

FORM OF PAYMENT

Payment for Boarding Services is due prior to services rendered or prior to pet pick up.

TLC Pet Boarding accepts payments in cash or with a credit card. We do not accept checks as a form of payment.

We accept both debit, credit cards and PayPal. There will be an additional 3% to 3.5% Surcharge for this service.

Any additional charges incurred during the service will be added to your invoice and payment is due prior to pet pick up.

HOURS OF OPERATION

TLC Pet Boarding has established the following hours of operation:

  • Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 7:30PM
  • Saturday 9:00AM – 7:30PM
  • Sunday 4:30PM – 7:30PM

DROP OFF & PICK UP

Drop off(s) or pick up(s) can be done as follows:
Monday – Friday from 7:30AM-11:30AM or from 3:00PM-7:30PM
Saturday from 9:00AM-11:30AM or from 3:00PM-7:30PM
Sunday from 4:00PM-7:30PM

No drop off(s) or pick up(s) on the holiday day. It can be either before or after the holiday day.

REFERRAL PROGRAM

For every new client you refer to us and after first service is performed, we will credit your account with $25 towards Boarding Services.
